Preparation of Matcha:
For the preparation of matcha you need the matcha whisk (chasen) / measuring spoon (chashaku) / matcha bowl. First put the matcha whisk briefly in warm water to increase the elasticity of the bamboo. Then put a spatula tip (approx. 1g) of Matcha into a Matcha bowl preheated with hot water.
2. Fill up step by step with 70°C hot water (70 - 100ml) and whisk the tea with the Matcha whisk for about 20 seconds until a fine foam develops on the surface.
3. Matcha can be enjoyed with sweets
Tips: Matcha is very sensitive. It must be well sealed after opening and stored in the refrigerator. Matcha is not only for drinking but can also be used for baking.
