We pay fair wages so that the farmers can work under fair conditions, are socially protected and so that we can secure jobs in Thailand. In this way, we ensure that the plantations can continue to be kept by the families living in Thailand and that they do not have to sell them because of the enormous price pressure. In this way, we live a respectful and very personal interaction, which in turn has an incredibly positive effect on the quality of our products.
Our thirst for knowledge about coconuts and their production has taken us on an incredible journey, crossing borders, building relationships with farming communities, gaining insights into how they live and work, and experiencing sustainable agriculture first-hand. We knew this was something we wanted to be a part of - and to fulfil this dream, J'COCOS was founded in September 2017.
Our business is built on values we strongly believe in and live by - respect, fair treatment, honesty and trustworthiness. We conduct our business in a socially responsible manner and only work with farmers or producers who meet our quality and environmental standards. Our goal is to bring the best quality from Thailand here to Switzerland.
Our philosophy is simple. We want to share the high quality organic produce we enjoy with you through recipes and baked goods, and educate you about their wider uses. While providing you with great products, we knowingly support farmers, their communities and the survival of agriculture for future generations. It's important for us to continue our visits to plantations, build our relationships, explore new products and practices, and contribute to a healthier and more sustainable way of life.
